Aircraft Hoses, Line & TubingAs we have learned from the electrical seection, some instrument will require tubing. Those instruments operating off the pitot-static system will need tubing. Hoses and lines will be extensively used around the engine and fuel systems. Lines and hoses can be found in other areas as well and are not limited to just these sytems. Some gyroplanes may have a hydraulic prerotator and you will definately need some lines and hoses for that installation. Let's break this down a bit and cover each in more detail.
