Aircraft Tubing

Polyethylene, Nylon, vinyl, polyurethane and silicone tubing is used in a variety of aircraft systems. Some areas gyroplane builders use these products are in the pitot-static system, drains, vents, and as anti-chaff sleeves.

Polyethylene is used in many pitot-static installations but some kit manufacturers prefer one of the other materials. Regardless of the material being used they are all easy to work with and are readily cut with scissors or a hobby knife. If you have to design your own pitot-static system it is recommended that you review AC 43.13-1 for further information.

It's time to deflect some air over to Gyroplane Flight Controls.
